Recording Embrace the Sin with Linda Septien
by Glitter Rose

“Linda is such a cool lady. Her vocal training has matured me so much as a vocalist. In the studio, she takes you through every line and brings out the best in your recording, technically and emotionally.

Embrace the Sin was one of the most fun recordings we’d done. The songs were some of my best at the time and the studios we worked in were incredible! I especially want to thank Mike Henson for putting so much hard work into this EP. This has been one of my favorite recordings.”

Hollywood High : "Embrace the Sin"

After 2 successful years in the rock music scene in Dallas, HH was ready to travel. The band made several trips to Los Angeles to play clubs such as The Whisky, The Viper Room, and The Dragonfly. The band also played shows throughout New Mexico and Arizona.

At the end of 2003, Glitter teamed up with vocal coach and producer Linda Septien (Jessica Simpson, Ryan Cabrera). Hollywood High recorded a 4 song EP, with Linda producing the vocals. The EP not only was doing well at live shows, but also made its way into the hands of Music Connection Magazine's Brian Stewart. From there, the band would get the opportunity of a lifetime.
