Working with Dito Godwin
by Glitter Rose

“When I found out I had the opportunity to work with Dito, I was more than thrilled. His production of No Doubt’s self titled debut paved the way to their success. I met him in Dallas, then shortly after traveled to LA to record 3 songs.

It was amazing! I got to work at Westlake Audio, where many of the rockstars I worshiped recorded. Dito is a great guy and taught me a lot about the recording process.”

Hollywood High: "Bred to Shred"

With the success of Class of '69, Glitter was introduced to star producer Dito Godwin, who launched the success of rock icons, No Doubt. In 2002, Glitter was asked to go to Hollywood and record a 3-song demo with the producer. The trip resulted in an amazing demo and a jumpstart in the Hollywood scene for Hollywood High. Shortly after, Glitter returned to Dallas and kicked it into high gear with the band, recording yet another single titled Britney Jean.

Britney Jean hit 97.1 The Eagle's airwaves and the rest is history. The band then held a Catholic Schoolgirl Contest with the radio station to search for their new back-up dancers. The contest drew 25 catholic schoolgirls ready to party! The show was one of the biggest for Robert Miguel's Local Show. The contest got Hollywood High 2 new smoking hot dancers and a fan base all its own!
